Taranto, 16th April 2022 - In relation to what reported by some information bodies today, Acciaierie d'Italia specifies that the events occurred in the department of the Plate Mill of Steel Shop no. 2 cannot be in any way referred to as lack of maintenance activities, but should actually be addressed exclusively to working procedures not conforming to the existing company standards. Acciaierie d'Italia thus specifies that the involved operators are subject to investigation and disciplinary procedures in order to ascertain any responsibilities.
