Taranto, 1st December 2021 – In relation to the news released in the evening by the media regarding alleged inefficiencies of the power plant and the consequent plant stop, Acciaierie d'Italia informs that there is currently no failure at the power plant, nor any risk of consequent plant stop.
Acciaierie d'Italia also informs that a scheduled maintenance intervention will be carried out on the BOF gas network #2 tomorrow, which will allow the simultaneous scheduled maintenance stop of Steel shop #2 and Blast Furnace #2.
Steel shop #2 and Blast Furnace #2 will return to normal operation on Friday.
