Milan, 28th April 2022 – With reference to the statements issued today by some Taranto Associations, Acciaierie d'Italia underlines that the accident frequency rate of its plants in 2020 was less than 10 which represents the lowest figure ever recorded in the history of the company and a lower figure than the global average recorded annually by the WorldSteel Association.
According to Federacciai's reports, the injury frequency rate in the Italian steel industry is 18.3, and for steel mills in particular the injury frequency rate is 14.8.
