Taranto, March 24th 2026 – A meeting was held today at the Taranto plant of Acciaierie d'Italia in Extraordinary Administration between company management and the labor unions, in accordance with the agreements reached at the previous meeting on March 12.
The meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of constructive dialogue between the parties, led to the establishment of Safety Analysis Groups. These Groups, serving as permanent fora for discussion between company departments and worker safety representatives (RLS) and RSU, will be tasked with mapping plant conditions and contributing to the identification of improvement measures to further strengthen prevention and safety protocols.
For this purpose, the schedule of activities for the Safety Analysis Groups was agreed upon; these activities will be carried out for each individual facility and production area starting on April 8, 2026.
Today’s meeting confirms the full and ongoing collaboration between institutions, the company, and trade unions on workplace safety issues.
