Milan, 2nd June 2021 – With reference to the recurring press rumors related to the approval of 2020 Financial Statements, Acciaierie d’Italia specifies that:
In the agreement signed with Invitalia on 10th December 2020 it is expressly provided that the approval of 2020 Financial Statements does not require the favorable vote of Invitalia or its appointed directors;
the approval of 2020 Financial Statements by the board of directors is awaiting the ruling of the State Council, who will express their decision on the appeal proposed against the order of the Mayor of Taranto in February 2020;
the data reported by some media on certain items in 2020 Financial Statements, in particular on payables to suppliers, are devoid of any basis.
Acciaierie d’Italia reminds that it has always enjoyed a largely positive net financial position, even at the deadline of the 2020 Financial Statements.
