Milan, 2nd May 2023 – Acciaierie d'Italia will participate in the 2023 edition of Made in Steel, the main trade fair for the steel sector in Italy, scheduled in Milan every two years in the exhibition facilities of Fiera Milano in Rho.
The appointment with customers and sector operators is on 9th, 10th and 11th May, in a space of 200 square meters in pavilion 22, stand E 52.
The stand will convey the payoff of the company, Steel Forward, showing the commitment to define standards for primary steel production and, more in general, for the Italian and European steel industry. A commitment based on research, technology, innovation, development of human resources and attention to the environment and safety.
The event will also be an opportunity to share Acciaierie d'Italia's 2022 Sustainability Report with stakeholders. This is the first sustainability report to refer to the entire company for over ten years and will highlight, among other things, the important progress that led to the implementation of the Environmental Plan.
The Report will also highlight the progress of activities in the fields of innovation – with the new Research and Development Centre – and advanced training, which sees its highest expression in the Technical Academy recently inaugurated at the Taranto plant.
The Steel Forward concept includes trading proactiveness, also reaffirmed through a roadshow that will involve all the main Acciaierie d'Italia plants by the end of this year.
Producing steel at the highest market standards requires collaboration, and for this reason Acciaierie d'Italia will host at its stand a delegation by AIGI – Association of AdI’s contractors and General Industries, which brings together almost all the companies working in partnership with the steel plant in Taranto.
