An advanced training course for managers has started in collaboration with Luiss Business School

Taranto, 29th April 2021 - An advanced training course lasting 6 months for the first line of managers of Acciaierie d'Italia started in March in collaboration with the Luiss Business School, the higher education school of Guido Carli Luiss University.

The program, developed by the Human Resources Department of Acciaierie d'Italia, involves 40 internal resources with the aim of aligning managerial styles and behaviors, contributing to the improvement of performance, fostering the development of leadership skills and virtuous management policies of resources.

The project also has the value of strengthening the team spirit of the group involved.

"The path undertaken by Acciaierie d’Italia is aimed at strengthening the various areas of expertise that concern the role of the manager, both in terms of resource management and specific knowledge. The target is to integrate the strategies and the analyses of different scenarios with in-depth study of the economic and financial dynamics", commented the Human Resources Director of Acciaierie d’Italia Arturo Ferrucci.

The training plan was developed in collaboration with the Custom Programs & Consulting area of Luiss Business School, specialized in defining customized management training programs. 
The development of skills will concern the sustainable approach to business management and the convergence between value creation and environmental and social sustainability. Great importance will also be given to the ability to pursue challenging objectives in ever changing scenarios. Furthermore, during the training, particular attention will be paid to the economic-financial dimensions and project management. 

A highly topical issue such as sustainability will be framed according to all its different perspectives: as a driving force for business growth, as a model of dialogue with stakeholders, with a view to managing impacts on the environment and the community, and as a management model of internal resources.

The course is divided into eight different modules: Sustainability, Megatrends & Strategy, Organization & People Management, Financial acumen & Performance Measurement, Effective Communication & Presentations, Project Management, Decision Making, Leadership & Intrapreneurship.
