Genoa, 29th October 2023 - With regard to the communication from Union reps and workers' safety reps to the press on the video made public on 27th October, Acciaierie d'Italia specifies that the operators visible in the video are moving exclusively within confined safety areas. The coil reaches the end of its scheduled handling cycle stopping in the position shown in the video, along a path with no operators. The movement of the maintenance worker which can be seen in the background is carried out within the foreseen safety zone and has no relation with the movement of the coil or its danger.
