Novi Ligure, 27th June 2023 – "Coated", the second 2023 trade meeting of Acciaierie d'Italia was held today at the Novi Ligure plant. The first meeting "Off-the-shelf", relating to stock products, was held in Racconigi on 28 March.
Customers from all over Italy and various European countries gathered at the Novi Ligure plant to attend the presentation of sales strategies. The event was held in the presence of the CEO of Acciaierie d'Italia, Lucia Morselli, who in the morning met the new Mayor of Novi Ligure, Rocchino Muliere.
On this occasion, the new product of Acciaierie d'Italia was presented: Luzima®. It is a coil, conceived in the Novi Ligure plant, covered with zinc and magnesium to make it more resistant. These properties make it particularly suitable for use in aggressive environments such as maritime areas or areas exposed to saline contents and in contexts with a high concentration of ammonia or SOx such as in agricultural and zootechnical installations. Finally, there are numerous possibilities for use in the construction, infrastructure and industry sector (roofs, building structures, gutters, poles, profiles, guardrails, noise barriers, solar panels, pipes, silos, etc.).
During the morning, Andrea Bellicini, Sales Director, and Orlando Rotondi, Production Coordinator for the Northern Area, supported by some specialized technicians from Acciaierie d'Italia, took part in the event. The managers underlined the strengths of the Novi Ligure plant and its range of "Coated" products, in addition to the actions in place on issues of interest to customers.
In the afternoon, the guests were accompanied on a guided tour of the plant by Gennaro Papallo, Director of the Novi Ligure, Salerno and Socova plants.
Andrea Bellicini made his final greetings to the guests, confirming the company's role as a point of reference in the Italian and international steelmaking scenario.
