Racconigi, 28 March 2023 – Acciaierie d'Italia inaugurated today in Racconigi its commercial roadshow, called Steel Commitment 2023, which is expected to make further steps by the end of the year also in other plants of the group.
Customers from all over Italy and various European countries gathered at the Racconigi plant to attend the presentation of commercial strategies relating to the ready-to-sell sector.
The event was opened by an institutional greeting from the CEO of Acciaierie d'Italia, Lucia Morselli, who met the Mayor of Racconigi Valerio Oderda and the Deputy Mayor Alessandro Tribaudino before the event.
Several representatives of the Acciaierie d'Italia’s top management took part in the morning.
Andrea Bellicini, Sales Director, confirmed the importance of the group's pipe mills and service centers and the Company's strategic will to develop them.
Orlando Rotondi, Northern Area Production Coordinator, explained the functioning of the company production system from a "ready" perspective, focusing in particular on the strengths and expected future developments.
Adolfo Buffo, Director of Quality, Research & Development and Sustainability, explained the audience about Acciaierie d'Italia's commitment to research and training with a view to decarbonization, also recalling the recent inauguration of the Technical Academy in Taranto.
In the afternoon, the guests were taken on a guided tour of the plant by Gennaro Papallo, Director of the Novi Ligure, Salerno and Socova Plants, and by Raffaele Valerio, Director of the Racconigi, Paderno and Legnano Plants.
Andrea Bellicini, in making an appointment for Made in Steel, the main trade fair for the iron and steel sector scheduled in Milan on 9-10-11 May 2023, took his leave of the guests underlining that “next to the completion of the 2018-2023 Environmental Plan, the Company has decided to address the market incisively to reaffirm its leadership and its strategic role in the Italian and international steelmaking scenario”.
