Taranto, 2nd October 2023 - Acciaierie d'Italia informs that today during the emptying operation for cleaning of a coal silo, a little quantity of coal got poured out.
An operator from the internal fire brigade in charge of the area surveillance came into contact with white-hot steam, which caused minor burns on one of his legs. The operator was promptly rescued and treated by the medical staff.
The company is verifying the dynamics of the event, to inform the Unions too.
