Taranto, 30th July 2023 – Acciaierie d’Italia informs that in the month of August the installation of the fourth Meros filter will be completed in the sinter plant of Taranto unit, thus accomplishing the environmental road map of the sinter plant as required by AIA prescription. For this reason, the sinter plant will have a sensitive reduction of its operation levels in the production of the necessary charge for the three blast furnaces. The operation of the Blast Furnace #1 will be suspended in the month of August until the end of the erection of the Meros filter in the sinter plant.
