Taranto, 24th July 2023 – With regard to the news reported in the press today, Acciaierie d'Italia informs that on Saturday 22nd July a fire broke out on an empty bus parked in the Taranto plant and therefore with no people on board. The vehicle was subjected to scheduled maintenance work on Friday evening and returned to operation the following morning before being parked. The fire was immediately put under control and extinguished without any damage to people or the environment.
