Taranto 1st December 2023 – Acciaierie d’Italia informs to have started a maintenance plan regarding several production areas. The involved plants in the maintenance plan are the shore facilities, stockyards, sintering lines, coke ovens, steel shop and rolling mill. The maintenance activities have been planned and optimized in order to be carried out in parallel, thus minimizing the production capacity reduction. Therefore, the production of hot metal in Blast Furnace no. 2 will be suspended for seven days from Monday 4th December and regularly resumed on 11th December.
