Taranto, 26th January 2024 – With reference to the statements made to the media today by trade union sources, according to which "an illicit movement of personnel from one plant to another" is taking place in the Taranto plant, Acciaierie d'Italia specifies that any movement of personnel takes place as always in full compliance with current legal and contractual provisions.
Recently the company has taken steps to carry out through its direct staff some basic tasks previously carried out by external suppliers, verifying in advance the existence of the necessary skills and the availability of the resources needed, as well as, as a rule, after proper information and training.
The company continues to operate in full compliance with current regulations regarding the safety of personnel and systems.
