Taranto, 18 June 2021 - Acciaierie d'Italia informs that the Audit activity by the IGQ accredited body (Quality Assurance Italian Institute) has ended today afternoon with positive result for the renewal of the Quality Management system certification in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards. The standards concern the quality and the automotive sector supply management systems respectively.
ith this result, the ability of the Taranto Plant to produce and ship products conforming to the specifications of all its customers has been confirmed.
At the end of the audit, the auditors expressed particular appreciation for the process auditing procedures. This is a result that makes the Taranto Plant a leader more and more in a demanding, strategic and sustainable market.
