Milan, 6th August 2021 - Acciaierie d'Italia communicates that, by decision no. 9220/2021, the Lazio Region Administrative Court accepted both the preliminary appeal and the next two appeals for additional reasons sumitted by the Company against the decrees published by the Minister of Ecological Transition (MiTE) in the last months on the completion time of the prescription for the covering of the conveyor belts and the connection towers of the Taranto plant.
The MiTE had only accepted partially the requests for adjustment of the implementation time of the prescription proposed by the Company, despite the enquiry service conference of 27th November 2020 and the decisional one of 16th December 2020 had instead established as consistent and reasonable the time schedule proposed by Acciaierie d'Italia, taking proper account of the inevitable slowing down of the activities due to the Covid19 pandemic.
The activities related to the prescription have been meantime concluded by the Company before 31st July 2021, in full respect of the technical time considered as reasonable by the Lazio Court too.
