SA 8000: 2014
SA8000 is an international certification standard that encourages organizations to develop, maintain and apply socially acceptable practices in the workplace.
SA 8000 also embraces existing international agreements, including conventions from the International Labor Organization, the Universal Declaration on Human Rights and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Certifying agency: RINA
EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations), or "Type III Environmental Declarations", are voluntary declarations that quantify the environmental impacts associated with a product throughout its entire life cycle.
Based on an LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), Acciaierie d'Italia's EPDs are drafted in compliance with ISO 14040:2021, ISO 14044:2021 and ISO 14025:2010 standards, with GPI indications (“General Program Instructions”) version 4.0 from EPD International and with the PCR (“Product Category Rules”) “Construction Products” version 1.2.5.

The Organization Greenhouse Gas Inventory includes accounting for and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions ("GHGs”) generated by the organization and its value chain throughout the reference year.
Acciaierie d'Italia S.p.A.'s GHG Inventory is redacted in accordance with the ISO 14064-1:2018 “Greenhouse gases: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals” and “The Greenhouse Gas Protocol – A Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard” standards.
It includes seven production sites (Taranto, Racconigi, Novi Ligure, Genoa, Marghera, Legnaro and Paderno Dugnano) and the Milan headquarters.
